Motel Hell (1980) Reviewed

“Meat’s meat and a man’s gotta eat!” says Rory Calhoun, owner of a motel where tourists are trapped and buried alive up to their slit throats, part of the process of being prepped to be human sausage! Nancy Parsons (the pud-pulverising gym teacher in Porky’s) is the demented sister that helps. While basically released as a too-little-too-late Texas Chainsaw Massacre rip off, there is some hilarious dialogue, a pig head used as a mask and a pretty solid finale. Worth seeing if you’re a fan of early-80s horror. Sharp eyes will spot John Ratzenberger as a doomed rock drummer.
