KISS ME QUICK! (1964)
An alien that talks and acts like Stan Laurel comes to earth to visit a mad scientist, Dr. Breedlove, who talks like Bela Lugosi and acts like Peter Sellers’ Dr. Strangelove. The visitor is there to pick up women to be servants on his all-male planet. Lucky for him Dr. Breedlove has a whole castle full. Most of the running time is committed to long leering close-ups of naked women exercising, doing the watusi and getting a buzz from the Doc’s “sex machine.” Some of these ladies are hot! Monster gags in the form of Frankenstein’s monster, the mummy and Dracula are sprinkled here and there. There’s innocence about KMQ! made evident by simple double entendres that could easily play on prime time TV today. Aside from nudity and nudge-wink comedy, this exploitation quickie practically feels family-friendly.
